About this file
This document presents the Technical Capability Requirements section of an Evaluation Criteria for a federal spectrum analysis equipment procurement.
The solicitation requires a spectrum analysis instrument capable of frequency coverage from 50 KHz to 40 GHz with instantaneous and analysis bandwidth between 150 MHz and 1.5 GHz. The equipment must perform real-time spectrum analysis of hopping and pulsed signals and support precise SCPI record, playback, offboard storage, and import of SCIP scripts. Data storage requirements include removable solid-state hard drives with each unit purchase including at least one primary and one spare drive. The equipment must incorporate easy security sanitize and zeroize capability for all onboard volatile and non-volatile data storage memory, and must support I&Q data recording. Additional technical requirements specify a calibration cycle of at least 12 months, LAN output compatibility from 1000BASE-T to 10 GBASE-T, and display output to external monitors via HDMI as a required feature with additional HDMI and Display outputs as desired capabilities.
