Instructions

Instructions for Offeror's to Complete the Pricing Spreadsheet

General:
1. Fill in only the yellow highlighted cells. The cells will change to white after an input has been generated.
2. Only take rates out two decimal places (e.g. $15.32). Entering formulas is unacceptable. If an input cell turns red that means you have entered more than two
decimals. If only a single digit is entered, a zero will automatically follow (i.e. - enter $4.2 and $4.20 will be shown).

3. Certain cells throughout the spreadsheet are locked. Any attempt to unlock or change these cells is unacceptable.

4. You must propose on a complete category. You must fill in a Year 1 Unit Price, column F, for all items under USAF TRAINING & QUALIFICATION TARGETS.
N/A and zero entries are not acceptable values.
5. Please pay close attention to the borders directly under the input area. To assist you in making sure you completely fill out the pricing model the Government has built
in a mechanism that will tell you if you have filled a unit rate in each appropriate cell (row 9). If you have filled in each rate you will not see a message. If you have not
filled in each rate you will see the message "You have not entered a unit price for each of the units listed above". This is built in as an informational assist and does not
guarantee that your proposal fulfills the completeness requirement.
6. Please examine your Yearly prices and Total Evaluated Price carefully. There is always the possibility that you may have accidentally entered a unit price or growth
rate incorrectly. This can cause your Total Evaluated Price to be much higher or lower than you intended.
"USAF Targets" Tab:
1. On the "USAF Targets" tab please insert the Year 1 Unit Price for each item in the yellow highlighted cells in Column F, Rows 4-6.
You must fill in a two decimal unit price for every unit listed in the tab. If a number with three decimals is entered, the cell will turn red.
2. The spreadsheet will automatically calculate the Year 1 Price (Column H) by multiplying the Year 1 Unit Price you enter by the Government provided Estimated Quantity
in Column G. The Year 2 - 5 Unit Price will be calculated by the spreadsheet using the growth rate percentages you enter in the yellow highlighted cells in Columns I,
L, O and R. Column I represents the growth from Year 1 to Year 2. For example, if you want your unit rate to increase by 5% from Year 1 to Year 2 you will enter
5 in Column I. If the offeror wishes, a different growth rate can be entered for each unit. Column L (Year 3) represents the growth from Year 2 to Year 3; and
so on. If no growth is desired please enter 0.
3. At the very end of the spreadsheet (Column U) you will find the Total Evaluated Price which is what the award will be based on. This is a summation of the price
calculated in Years 1 - 5.

4. In Columns B-E please insert the information identified in Line 2 of those Columns as applicable (Manufacturer Name, Product Name, Part/Item #, Manufacturer #).

"Price List" Tab
1. Since the Government reserves the right to acquire any of the items on an individual basis this tab compiles all of the unit prices and will serve as the price list for
awarded contracts.
