Statement of Work Summary: Pest Control Services

This Statement of Work establishes comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for Santa Fe Indian Health Center and satellite clinics, covering approximately 98,448 square feet across six facilities in Santa Fe and San Felipe Pueblo, New Mexico. The contract period runs from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with four optional one-year extensions. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, materials, pesticides, vehicles, monitoring devices, documentation, and disposal services with no government-furnished resources. Services operate during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with variations by facility) and prioritize minimizing disruption to patient care and clinical operations.

The scope encompasses insect control (cockroaches, bed bugs, ants, flies, wasps, hornets, and 15+ additional species), rodent management (mice, rats, pack rats, gophers), structural pest control (termites, carpenter ants), and wildlife management where legally permitted. The contractor must implement IPM principles prioritizing inspection, monitoring, identification, exclusion, and sanitation before mechanical or biological controls, with chemical treatments only as a last resort using EPA-registered pesticides approved for healthcare environments. Monthly comprehensive inspections, quarterly facility assessments, and annual program reviews are required. Emergency response must be provided within four hours for priority situations and 24 hours for urgent issues. All pesticides require Safety Data Sheets submission and Contracting Officer Representative approval before use. The contractor must submit detailed service reports within three business days of each visit, maintain 100% licensing compliance, and achieve performance standards including 100% completion of scheduled services and effective pest activity management. The contractor works directly with the designated Housekeeping Department Point of Contact or Contracting Officer Representative for work orders, service coordination, and pest control notifications.
