This Statement of Work details HVAC repair and replacement services for the Angeles National Forest (ANF) across four locations: Oak Flat Fire Station, Bear Divide Fire Station, Acton Work Center, and Angeles NF Supervisors Office Headquarters. The project involves replacing aging HVAC systems that are compromising air quality and staff comfort, with specific requirements including installing new rooftop package units, mini-split systems, and repairing a Carrier rooftop package unit. The contract has a 100-day performance period, with most work anticipated to be completed promptly after the Notice to Proceed.
The scope of work includes detailed specifications for each location, such as installing 2-ton to 4.5-ton packaged rooftop units with 17 SEER2 efficiency, removing and recycling existing units, performing electrical connections, and ensuring proper system functionality. The project requires adherence to National Electrical Code, Environmental Protection Agency standards, and Los Angeles County building codes. The Service Contract Act applies to wages, and the procurement is set aside for 100% small businesses with a NAICS code of 238220 and a small business size standard of $19M.
