Statement of Work (SOW)

Project: Elevator Maintenance Service

LOCATIONS:

Site 1:

Northern Crop Science Laboratories (NCSL) 1307 18th Street North Fargo, ND 58102

Site 2:

Bio-Science Research Laboratories (BRL) 1616 Albrecht Boulevard North Fargo, ND 58102

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Background and Purpose: USDA-ARS in Fargo, ND requires elevator maintenance service on existing elevators, one elevator per site. The elevator at the BRL is a SEL-COL

Simplex 3 Landing hydraulic elevator. The elevator at the NCSL was manufactured by A tech Reliable Elevator Co and is a 3 Landing hydraulic elevator also.

2.0 Definitions:

ARS: Agricultural Research Service

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:

Elevator maintenance service for (2) existing hydraulic elevators; one at each site.

Provide the following services to each site on a quarterly basis:

Machine bearings, gears, pumps, pump motors, operating valves, valve motors, and leveling valves. Selectors, governors, governor sheaves, governor tension frame sheave assemblies, and compensating sheave assemblies. Door operators, car door hangers, hoistway door hangers, and interlocks. Safeties, car and counterweight guide rails, and car and counterweight guide shoes including rollers and gibs. Including service and repairs and must provide a copy of report after maintenance and service has taken place.

(In addition, provide a price per hour for an emergency service call. If we ever used it, we would pay for it via a purchase card, not part of the contract.)

4.0 Deliverable / Schedule:

Base Year - 09/20/2021 – 09/19/2022

Option Year 1 – 09/20/2022 – 09/19/2023

Option Year 2 – 09/20/2023 – 09/19/2024

Option Year 3 – 09/20/2024 – 09/19/2025

Option Year 4 – 09/20/2025 – 09/19/2026

7.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel:

8.0 Security Requirements:

All personnel shall have a U.S. photo ID, such as U.S. Driver’s License, or U.S. passport. Facial coverings are required if personnel on site have not been vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus.

Requirements related to the COVID-19 Virus are rapidly changing. Call ahead prior to any service work to ensure that the latest requirements are known and being followed.

10.0 Section 508 – Electronic and Information Technology Standards: Not Applicable

11.0 Performance Requirement:

A copy of report after maintenance and service is required prior to invoice payment.
