About this file

This performance work statement outlines requirements for the development of a Payload Handling System Machined Canister. The Navy requires fabrication services to manufacture one complete Payload Handling System Machined Canister assembly according to supplied drawings. The performance work statement specifies tasks for developing fabrication plans, quality measurement plans, and forging sketches. It also outlines requirements for fabricating forgings, performing welding and cladding, conducting inspections and tests, and delivering final machined components. The Navy may exercise options to procure additional lower weldment and upper forging components, as well as a fully assembled canister. Quality assurance documentation and reporting requirements are defined.
