Laboratories are excluded from cleaning and contractor personnel will not enter them; trash receptacles will be placed outside laboratory doors for emptying and bag replacement. The contractor must supply specified consumable items annually, including 16 cases of tri-fold paper towels, 4 cases of toilet paper, 24 cases of trash bags (both 15-gallon and 33-gallon), 6 cases of hard wound towels, 4 cases of facial tissue, 18 cases of foaming hand wash, 12 cases of kitchen roll paper towels, and 3 cases of hand sanitizing wipes. The government will furnish a floor scrubber. All deliverables must arrive at the facility loading dock during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Contractor personnel working at night must notify the building administrator of arrival and departure; those working during business hours must report to the building manager.

Statement of Work Custodial Services
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Cereal Crops Research Unit (CCRU), in Madison, WI has a need for a Base plus 4 Service Contract for on-site cleaning services. The contractor is responsible for supplying personnel pertinent to the job function. Supervision and coordination of personnel will be the responsibility of the contractor.
2.0 Background. This facility is approximately 35,000 sq. ft with fifteen (15) offices, library, conference rooms, break room, and three (3) restrooms. The location of building

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks: The Contractor shall provide trained personnel that can perform the following tasks weekly on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday unless one of those days falls on a federal holiday:
3.1 Arrive on site, empty trash and recyclables throughout the common areas of the facility.
3.2 Lobby Reception Area:
3.2.1 Dust all surfaces, tables, chairs
3.2.2 Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard floors
3.2.3 Empty trash and recycling bins and replace bag
3.3 Restrooms: #_3_
3.3.1 Clean and disinfect toilets, urinal, shower, sinks & counters
3.3.2 Clean and disinfect mirrors & glass surfaces
3.3.3 Refill soap, toilet paper dispensers & paper towels dispensers
3.3.4 Sweep/mop floors and wipe down walls if necessary
3.3.5 Empty trash and recycling bins and replace bag
3.4 Break Room:
3.4.1 Clean and disinfect sinks & counters
3.4.2 Wipe & sanitize surfaces
3.4.3 Wipe & clean backsplash
3.4.4 Refill 3 paper towel dispensers
3.4.5 Sweep/mop floors
3.4.6 Empty trash and recycling bins and replace bag
3.5 Offices: #_15_
3.5.1 Dust all surfaces, desks, chairs, and shelves
3.5.2 Clean handles, switches, and windowsills
3.5.3 Vacuum carpets
3.5.4 Empty trash and recycling bins and replace bag

3.6.1 Dust all surfaces, tables and chairs
3.6.2 Wipe/disinfect tables and chairs
3.6.3 Vacuum carpets
3.6.4 Empty trash and recycling bins and replace bag
3.7 Hallways
3.7.1 Sweep/mop hard floors
3.7.2 Vacuum carpets
3.7.3 Empty all trash and recycling bins and replace bag
3.8 Based on the average usage of the facility, the vendor will supply the following consumables:
3.8.1 Sixteen (16) cases annually of tri-fold paper towels (9” x 9” or similar) to be distributed as needed within the breakroom, unisex bathroom, and laboratories (will be stocked by facility staff).
3.8.2 Four (4) cases annually of two-ply, standard roll toilet paper. 80 total rolls.
3.8.3 Twelve (12) cases annually of 24 x 32 – 15-gallon trash bags. 6000 in total.
3.8.4 Twelve (12) cases annually of 33 x 39 – 33-gallon trash bags. 3000 in total.
3.8.5 Six (6) cases annually of Hard wound roll towels 8” wide. 36 total.
3.8.6 Four (4) cases annually of Kleenex (or similar) 2-ply facial tissue. 108 boxes total.
3.8.7 Eighteen (18) cases annually of Gojo 5665 (or similar) foaming hand wash. 36 total.
3.8.8 Twelve (12) cases annually of 2-ply kitchen roll paper towels. 144 rolls total.
3.8.9 Three (3) cases annually of Purell GOJ911802 (or similar) hand sanitizing wipes. Six (6) total packages.
3.9 Laboratories will not need to be cleaned or entered at any time. Trash receptacles will be let outside the door in the hallway for emptying when needed and bag replacement.
4.0 Government Furnished Equipment: Floor scrubber.
5.0 Deliverables Scheduled: All deliverables required should arrive at the CCRU loading dock during the normal hours of operation (Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm).
6.0 Security Requirements: As applicable, all incoming personnel will notify the building administrator or manager of arrival and departure if working at night. If performing duties during normal business hours, incoming personnel will report to the building manager unless otherwise designated.
7.0 Place of Performance: Except for deliveries and loading/unloading of equipment, all contractor interior tasks will be performed within the confines of the facility.
8.0 Period of Performance: The Period of Performance for this contract is estimated and will be adjusted based on date of award.
