About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair of a JLG Man Lift that requires contractor labor, tools, and materials to restore the equipment to full operational status within 14 calendar days of contract award.

The scope of work encompasses three major repair tasks: replacement of one Swing Drive Hub (Part #1001248468), one Upper Lift Cylinder (Part #1001251004), and four Wheel and Tire Assemblies consisting of two LH Wheels (Part #1001207345) and two RH Wheels (Part #1001207346). Contractor qualifications require a minimum of three years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment comparable to JLG aerial man lifts, with all work performed by technicians certified and factory-trained in heavy equipment and hydraulic systems repair. The contractor must possess calibrated torque wrenches and diagnostic equipment and comply with all applicable OSHA standards. Specific tasks include securing the boom and turret, removing and installing replacement components with proper torquing to OEM specifications, conducting system testing (360-degree swing function, lift and lower functions, hydraulic system bleeding), and performing final functional testing of all systems including drive, steering, lift, and swing functions. Acceptance criteria require demonstration of fully functional systems operating smoothly per manufacturer specifications without leaks, secure fasteners torqued to OEM specifications, proper reinstallation of all guards and covers, and a clean work area. The contractor provides a 90-day workmanship warranty from acceptance date and passes through the full OEM warranty for all installed components, with exclusions for defects arising from improper use, negligence, abuse, or unauthorized repairs after acceptance.
