About this file
This Statement of Work outlines requirements for upgrading the MITEL MiVoice Business Phone system at a USDA facility in Wapato, WA. The project involves migrating from an outdated phone system to a new system with $0 software licensing when purchasing new 6900 series IP phones. The upgrade is classified as an emergency request due to current system failures affecting employee safety, as staff lack access to phones, PA system, fire alarms, and security features.
The technical requirements include converting the existing PRI to SIP/TPX trunks with mobile (4G/5G/LTE) backup, installing new equipment and software to support over 70 phones, implementing PA and voicemail systems throughout a 60,000 sq ft building, and providing user training. The scope includes installing switches with capacity for 6 Analog Stations and 4 Analog Trunks, configuring software on users' computers, and training administrators in basic system management. The first year warranty for maintenance service contract is recommended to be included. The project addresses critical infrastructure needs caused by expired GSA contracts for POTS lines and hardware failures in the field.
