About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the acquisition of a portable, diesel-powered air compressor system by the 97th Civil Engineer Squadron at Altus Air Force Base. The requirement is for one new, trailer-mounted compressor to support civil engineering and flight line maintenance activities, specifically for pneumatic tools used in time-sensitive airfield damage repair operations.
The equipment must meet or exceed the following specifications: 185 CFM air delivery at 100 psig operating pressure; a Tier 2 diesel engine (e.g., Kubota V2403M-DI-T or equal); trailer-mounted configuration with standard axle, electric brakes, and maximum towing speed of at least 65 mph; dual hose reels each equipped with 100 feet of hose; USAF Gray paint finish; comprehensive control panel with fuel level gauge; and a heavy-duty battery with minimum 1000 Cold Cranking Amps. The equipment specification references "Brand Name or Equal to Bobcat PA185KBT-ML-T2 with Military Super Standard options." Delivery is estimated at 15 weeks After Receipt of Order to Altus AFB, Oklahoma, with the contractor responsible for all transportation costs as a separate line item. Acceptance will be based on visual inspection and successful operational testing. The contractor must comply with base security requirements, including obtaining visitor passes for delivery personnel. Standard commercial Original Equipment Manufacturer warranty for parts and labor begins upon final Government acceptance. The SOW does not specify response dates, award dates, pricing terms, set-asides, or contract vehicles.
