About this file
This document contains the specifications for a trailer-mounted centrifugal pump and diesel power unit required by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) for the Shelbyville State Fish and Wildlife Area (SFWA). The pump assembly is intended to be used for transferring nonpotable water from various sources for wildlife management purposes. The specifications outline the required features of the pump, including a 24" diameter centrifugal trailer pump with a 24" discharge pipe, a PTO-driven system, a minimum 15,000 GPM continuous output capability, and an enclosed type centrifugal radial flow impeller. The diesel power unit must be compatible with the proposed pump and include a minimum 150 horsepower rating, a six-cylinder inline 4-cycle engine, an electrical starting and alternator charging system, and various control and safety features.
The IDNR is seeking vendors to supply the trailer-mounted portable pump for the Shelbyville SFWA. This is a state and local contract opportunity, and the procurement process will be conducted electronically, with no paper responses accepted. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided information.
