About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for door and hardware replacements at the Federal Aviation Administration's Indianapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC). The project involves replacing doors and hardware at seven locations, including control room north and south entrances, front entrance, and various interior and exterior doors. Key requirements include installing 1-3/4-inch hollow metal fire-rated doors with narrow lites, continuous hinges, exit devices, push buttons, kick plates, and automatic door operators from manufacturers like LCN, Von Duprin, and Stanley. The work also involves modifying the front entrance sliding door, removing and reinstalling a concrete pedestal, and laying new flooring. Contractors must submit detailed documentation, coordinate with the FAA's access control contractor, and work during specified hours with FAA personnel escort, with control room doors requiring special attention to maintain one side's operational status.
