About this file
This document is an Addendum #1 to Solicitation SIR 6973GH-26-R-00012, dated October 3, 2025, containing two Requests for Information (RFI) with corresponding answers. The first RFI addresses a detailed door schedule, specifying various door sizes including sliding doors ranging from 36" X 84" to 6'X7' 1 3/4, with specific notations for front and sliding door dimensions.
The second RFI clarifies the project timeline for a turnkey solution, which was initially set at 30 days after award. The government's response indicates that the 30-day completion period will commence after the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued, and the NTP will not be released until all materials are available and work is ready to begin. The contractor had noted concerns about hardware sourcing lead times, which currently average approximately 10 weeks, and the government's response suggests flexibility in the project start date contingent on material availability.
