3.0 INTRODUCTION

Job Corps is a national residential training and employment program administered by the Department of Labor to address the multiple barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged youth throughout the United States. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) mandates that Job Corps graduates be provided with transition, placement, and support services for one year following initial placement.
