About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines requirements for forklift servicing for the FBI's Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) in Lorton, VA, under requisition SHOP-PR-25-000507. The contract is Time and Materials/Labor Hour type, with a period of performance from 10/30/2024 to 10/31/2025.
The requirement is for general repair and maintenance of Hyster forklifts used by the Rapid Deployment Team (RDT). The scope includes operational inspections of hand/foot controls, brakes, horn, load handling attachments (hoisting, lowering, tilting, side shifting), as well as visual inspections of fluid levels, leaks, cracks, defects, tire condition/pressure, fork condition, mast alignment, internal components, and safety mechanisms. Eastern Lift currently holds multiple service contracts across CIRG for forklift servicing, but the Crisis Operations Unit (COU) does not have a current contract. The FBI is considering combining purchases into a potential long-term contract for the entire CIRG division to ensure compliance with OSHA and CIRG Safety requirements.
