Statement of Work Summary - Portable Inflatable Planetarium System
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines requirements for the procurement and delivery of a complete portable inflatable planetarium system (Reference Number FA252126QB121) designed to project 360-degree video content and astronomy curriculum for community and educational outreach purposes. The system must include a minimum 5-meter diameter inflatable dome constructed to ASTM F2374-24 standards with a compatible blower, protective wheeled transport cases for both dome and projection equipment, and 4K resolution projection hardware equipped with a fisheye or comparable dome-specific lens. The dome must be fully portable with rapid setup/teardown capability, handicap accessible, feature adequate ventilation, and accommodate a minimum seating capacity of 25 adults. All fabrics must meet commercially recognized safety standards for flame resistance, chemical resistance, and durability. The projection system must support standard 360-degree film and video content with an integrated or portable speaker system synced to the media, and all hardware must operate on standard US 110V/120V AC power.
The vendor must provide a dedicated pre-configured laptop or tablet to operate the projection and audio systems, vendor-provided training covering setup, daily operation, emergency procedures, and teardown, access to technical support during standard business hours, and a minimum one-year comprehensive warranty covering parts and labor. An astronomy curriculum package must be included, ideally under perpetual license or with a minimum of three years of software updates. Delivery must occur within 120 days after award to Patrick Space Force Base, Florida on an FOB Destination basis with delivery costs included in the vendor quote. The vendor must provide signed NDAA Section 889 Compliance Representation certifying no prohibited telecommunications or video surveillance hardware from manufacturers including Huawei, ZTE, Hikvision, Dahua, or Hytera are included in any system component. All electronic and specialized hardware must be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant.
