About this file

Attachment 1 is a sample task order document for an Enterprise Service Solutions storage environment, detailing the multi-tenant infrastructure requirements for a federal contract opportunity. The document provides a comprehensive breakdown of server and virtualization infrastructure, including 411 physical servers across Windows, Linux, Solaris, HPUX, VMware, and other virtualization platforms, totaling 1,430 virtual servers and 6,010 TB of used storage. The infrastructure is designed to support a total front-end throughput of 80 Gigabytes per second, with server configurations spanning multiple operating systems and virtualization technologies.

The task order sample aligns with the Draft RFP from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which seeks a scalable, on-demand storage solution with utility-based billing and comprehensive managed services. The contract aims to provide flexible storage management that can adapt to evolving government operational requirements, encompassing hardware, software, licensing, design, logistics, field maintenance, and systems engineering services across approved locations in the continental and non-continental United States.

Attachment 1 – Sample Task Orders Table 1-1:

Unclassified CONUS Data Center Operational Storage Environment Task Order

Using the example table below, provide a description of the proposed solution to support the Data Center Operational Storage Environment requirement. Identify the hardware provided, to include the number of storage systems, number of racks, configuration of the storage systems, and the amount of storage installed in each system. Identify all SLINs and quantity per SLIN required to fill this order, including SRM and analytics. Note: All servers boot from SAN.
