About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for the ACC/A4SA Dronebuster Block 4 requirement. ACC/A4SA seeks to procure forty (40) Dronebuster Block 4 units (Part Number: FIGDRONEBUSTER_BLK4_PNT_KIT) or equal for delivery to ten different CONUS locations, with four units per location. The equipment must include a minimum one-year warranty and meet comprehensive technical specifications across five primary capability areas.
The Dronebuster Block 4 must incorporate integrated RF power meter and analyzer capabilities to identify exact message types (C2, video payloads, telemetry) with a dedicated detection mode operating 10+ hours on battery power. The system must be self-contained, enabling operators to detect, analyze RF signatures, and defeat drones without external input. Regarding durability, the system must not exceed 5.85 lbs and 21.6"L x 10.9"H x 4.5" dimensions, include Mil-spec thermal management and NATO Mil-Spec certified batteries suitable for military and civilian transport, achieve MIL STD 810 testing and IP65 rating, and provide a sling and hardened case for storage/transportation. The defeat mechanism must include a Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Attack mode to spoof GNSS signals and commandeer autonomous drones, generate synthetic satellite signals for pre-programmed waypoint drones, and be rated effective against drone swarms. The system must jam all four major satellite navigation systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) across L1, L2, and L5 bands and handle Commercial Off-The-Shelf ISM and HAM frequencies. Command and Control integration requires a high-reliability RS-422 serial interface, designated fixed-site mounting points on both sides, and power capability via NATO Mil-Spec batteries (60+ minutes continuous jamming) or external DC power for permanent operation.

Salient Characteristics for
ACC/A4SA Dronebuster Block 4 Requirement
Requirement Background ACC/A4SA requires the purchase of forty (40) Dronebuster Block 4s (Part Number:
FIGDRONEBUSTER_BLK4_PNT_KIT) “or equal” for delivery to ten different CONUS locations (four per location).
Warranty Support Requirement
• Must come with a minimum of one-year warranty.
Salient Characteristics
1. Detection and Signal Analysis
a. Must have an integrated RF power meter and analyzer that allows the operator to determine the exact types of messages being transmitted (e.g., C2, video payloads, telemetry).
b. Must operate as a sensor with a dedicated detection mode lasting 10+ hours on battery power.
c. Must have integrated RF analyzer to assist operators in reliably aiming the system at the threat, even in low-visibility or obscured environments.
d. Must feature a dedicated, onboard detection and RF power meter mode to find threats before engaging.
e. Must be self-contained. The operator must be able to use the internal hardware to detect, analyze the RF signature, and defeat the drone without external input.
2. Durability/Sustainability
a. Must have a Mil-spec thermal management and battery infrastructure designed to handle target saturation/swarms without overheating.
b. Must be NATO Mil-Spec Battery certified and approved for military and civilian transport.
c. Must be designed as a standalone platform with designated mounting points. Natively supports continuous external DC power and integrates into base command (C2) via an RS-422 interface.
d. Must Include a sling and hardened case for storage/transportation.
e. Device/system must not exceed 5.85lbs and not be larger than 21.6"L x 10.9"H x 4.5".
f. Must be MIL STD 810 tested and IP65 rated.
3. Defeat Mechanism and Spoofing
a. Must be equipped with a Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Attack mode. This simulates GNSS signals to commandeer the flight computer of autonomous "dark drones" flying exclusively on pre-programmed waypoints.
b. Must be rated to be effective against drone swarms.
c. Must be capable of executing a Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Attack to actively spoof GNSS signals and commandeer autonomous drones.
d. Must be able to generate synthetic satellite signals to misdirect drones operating purely on pre-programmed waypoints (dark drones).
4. Frequency Coverage and Spectrum
a. Must jam all four major satellite navigation systems: GPS (US), Galileo (Europe), GLONASS (Russia), and BeiDou (China) across the L1, L2, and L5 bands.
b. Must exploit a wide array of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) ISM and HAM frequencies and handles frequency-agile threats.
5. Command and Control (C2)
a. Must include a high-reliability RS-422 serial interface, allowing it to be integrated into broader C2 and perimeter security networks.
b. Must include designated mounting points for stationary, fixed-site point defense. Also, must have fixed-site mounting holes on right and left side.
c. Must be powered by NATO Mil-Spec batteries (providing 60+ minutes of continuous jamming) and natively supports external DC power for permanent, continuous operation.
