About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for a 600 NMR Spectrometer. The requirements specify a comprehensive nuclear magnetic resonance system with detailed technical specifications, including a 600 MHz, 14.1 T spectrometer that must be a new system with specific capabilities and components.

Key requirements include a shielded magnet with a 150-day helium hold time, a minimum 24-auto sample changer, UPS backup system, RF generation system, site-wide NMR software license, and a variable temperature controller supporting -170°C to +250°C. The probe must support multiple isotopes (1H, 19F, 31P to 15N, 39K, and 109Ag), accept 5mm NMR tubes, and include gradient shimming and a single channel pulsed field gradient amplifier. Additional specifications mandate on-site training and installation, in-state application support, and a 1-year warranty.
