About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for three Bobcat Toolcat utility work machines. The Toolcats are multi-purpose vehicles designed for various tasks including snow removal, material handling, and general utility work, with consistent core specifications across models. Key shared characteristics include minimum 60 horsepower engines, four-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, cargo box bed capacity of at least 2,000 lbs, rated lift arm capacity of 1,500 lbs, hydraulic dump cargo boxes, and 3,000 PSI auxiliary hydraulic pressure.

Each Toolcat variant has unique requirements: Toolcat 1 must be attachment-compatible with existing Bobcat implements and have road driving safety features; Toolcat 2 must be diesel-powered, compatible with specific snow removal attachments, and match the previous 5600 UWM model with a 4,200 lb load capacity; Toolcat 3 emphasizes versatility by operating more than 45 attachments. All models include cold weather capabilities like block heaters and enclosed cabs, and are designed for winter conditions with features such as winter tire accommodations and multiple snow removal attachment options.
