INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT AND INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE AND
RECONNAISSANCE PROCESSING EXPLOITATION AND DISSEMINATION (ISR-
PED) SUPPORT
1. Background: Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) supports and executes an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) program. This program provides comprehensive, actionable intelligence services to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) elements and subordinate commands. It encompasses the collection, interpretation, and immediate use of intelligence information gathered from multiple sources, to include, both manned and unmanned airborne ISR platforms. Besides airborne ISR collection, AFSOC ISR PED conducts rapid, real time synthesis of vast amounts of intelligence data derived from multiple sources including human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), imagery intelligence (IMINT), geo-spatial intelligence (GEOINT), and others.
2. Scope: AFSOC has a validated requirement to provide Geospatial Intelligence and Imagery Intelligence Analysts to on-going and future operations executed in Declared Theaters of Active Armed Conflict (DTAAC) and Outside Declared Theaters of Active Armed Conflict (ODTAAC). The purpose of this support is to contribute to the actionable intelligence capability using personnel within the functional spectrum of Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT). This support directly contributes to the USSOCOM and AFSOC capability to meet known and emergent mission requirements and operations assigned by the Secretary of Defense.
3. Requirement: The intelligence support, ISR PED IV contract will provide the most proficient and capable intelligence analysts who are experienced with the collection and interpretation of traditional and non-traditional intelligence information. Analysts will be experienced with advanced analytical techniques and methods that leverage multiple data sets within the Intelligence Data Architecture.
