About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details sports officiating and scorekeeping services for Vandenberg Space Force Base's intramural, varsity, and youth sports programs. The contract requires providing officials and scorekeepers for multiple sports including flag football, soccer, softball, basketball, and volleyball, with specific staffing requirements for each sport and competition level. Officials must be certified by recognized sports associations, wear professional attire, arrive 15 minutes before game time, and comply with base safety regulations.
The PWS outlines comprehensive performance standards, including maintaining 98-100% compliance across six key performance metrics such as providing the correct number of officials, wearing appropriate attire, being certified in their sport, and maintaining professional conduct. The sports seasons are estimated to run from January through August, with varying schedules for different sports. The government will provide facilities, equipment, and playing fields, while the contractor is responsible for supplying qualified personnel and ensuring high-quality officiating services across adult and youth sporting events.
