About this file

This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for janitorial services at the Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center (ETSARC) in Fargo, North Dakota. The PWS outlines the requirements for cleaning two buildings - the Northern Crops Science Laboratory (NCSL) and the Biosciences Research Laboratory (BRL) - over a base year and four option years. It details the specific tasks to be performed daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, semiannually, and annually, including floor maintenance, general cleaning, restroom cleaning, and window washing. The PWS also covers contractor responsibilities, such as supervision of employees, safety, property protection, and security. Inspections and procedures for addressing deficiencies are also outlined.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for janitorial services at the ETSARC, with a NAICS code of 561720 and a size standard of $22 million. The solicitation requires submission of a technical capability document, pricing, and past performance references. A site visit on June 18, 2024 is mandatory. Quotes are due by 2:00 pm CDT on June 26, 2024, and the Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order with option years to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
