About this file
This is a Sources Sought notice for the 2026 Air Force Marathon event. The Air Force is soliciting information from potential contractors regarding capabilities to support this requirement, with submission instructions organized into four primary sections.
Respondents must provide company profile and administrative information including company name and address, point of contact details, DUNS and CAGE codes, website URL, socio-economic status, foreign ownership disclosure, and manufacturer status. Additionally, companies must address business practices and data rights by submitting proprietary data statements, warranty information, and recent commercial sales history. The acquisition strategy has not yet been finalized; however, the Air Force is considering a small business set-aside if sufficient interest and capability are demonstrated. For this determination, two or more small business prime contractors must be capable of providing at least 50 percent of the entire scope of required supplies and services per FAR 52.219-14. Small business respondents interested in the prime contractor role must provide specific details demonstrating FAR 52.219-14 compliance and clearly delineate any teaming arrangements or subcontracts with anticipated percentages of effort. All potential respondents should provide feedback on specific requirement areas suitable for small business subcontracting. The technical capability survey requires detailed responses addressing facility and organizational structure, past performance on similar projects with contract numbers and customer points of contact, any requirement barriers that would preclude viability, and information regarding established market pricing and terms offered to both government and commercial entities.
