Reclamation Plan
I. Reclamation Plan Requirements See Figure 1. Butcher 32 SESW Off-Channel Pit Site Map for site specific details described below.
Butcher 32 SESW Off-Channel Pit located T586N/R764W/Section 32 SENW ( UTM:437398/4959977)
-Drain approximately 555,000 gallons of water stored within the pit. A water quality analysis has been completed indicating the water is suitable for livestock consumption. The water is to be moved to the existing reservoir located T56N, R74W, Section 32 NWNE.
-Remove 1,800 linear feet of 4 strand wire fence around the perimeter of the off-channel pit. All Fence posts and wire will be salvaged and moved to the surface owner’s storage yard.
-Remove one tire tank outfall and siphon tube; salvaged and moved to the surface owner’s storage yard.
-Salvage topsoil from the embankment area of the pit to a depth of no less than 12-inches and stockpile at the outer toe of the pit’s embankment; approximately 2,835 cubic-yards.
-Recontour the off-channel pit by moving the embankment into the pool area; approximately 43,920 cubic-yards
-Once topsoil has been respreads across the disturbed areas, the soil is to be disced and prepped for seed bed, crimped with straw and seeded with the seed mix listed below. Straw and seed are to be from a weed free certified source.
-Drill seed at a depth not to exceed 0.5 inches. If broadcast seeding, double the rate of application.
-Apply straw mulch at 100 pounds per acre.
-Apply seed at the specified rate. See the BLM approved seed mix is listed in the reclamation plan.
CBNG production equipment located T55N/R74W/Section 5 NENW (UTM:437223/4958748)
-The 16ft-L x 15ft-W x 10ft-H metal building will remain intact at its current location and the production facilities within it removed and exposed pipes cut & caped 3-feet below the surface. The building can be moved intact to complete removal of the production equipment but will be placed back in its original location once dirt work is completed. Cut and cap three 5-inch, one 2.5-inch, and one 7-inch metal pipes.
-A minimum of 6-inches of topsoil will be savaged and segregated for all excavation and redistributed across the disturbance area following backfilling. Apply seed at the recommended rate.
-The dual valve header’s two 5-inch metal pipes will be cut, caped and buried 3-feet below ground surface; the metal cage salvaged and moved to Butcher’s salvage yard; see Figure 6.
-The electrical panel and metal fencing will be removed and four 3-inch poly, electrical conduit cut and buried 3-feet below ground surface.
-The 5-inch polypipe stub-pit pipe will be cut and buried 3-feet below ground surface.
CBNG production equipment located T56N/R74W/Section 32 SWNE (UTM:437862/4960351)
-A minimum of 6-inches of topsoil will be savaged and segregated for all excavation and redistributed across the disturbance area following backfilling. Apply seed at the recommended rate.
-The dual air-release valve, two 3-inch metal pipe will be cut, capped, and buried 3-feet below ground surface;
the metal cage salvaged and moved to Butcher’s salvage yard.
-The drip valve, one 3-inch polypipe will be cut and capped and the 36-inch culvert seller salvaged and moved to Butcher’s salvage yard.
