About this file

This is a Contingency Dorms Linen Service Price Schedule template for linen services at Moron Air Base, Spain. The price schedule requires offerors to provide unit pricing and total costs for the base year and four option periods across six linen categories: sheets (2,500 units), pillowcases (1,250 units), blankets (1,250 units), bedspreads (1,250 units), towels (2,500 units), pillows (1,250 units), and tablecloths (500 units). The schedule includes a section for direct labor costs associated with linen service operations, though all pricing fields are currently blank and marked as "$-0" with an anticipated total annual cost placeholder.

The associated source data section details staffing requirements for Contingency Lodging Managers across buildings 114 and 119, specifying nine hours of work per manager per day with two personnel assigned per building. Operational requirements address both occupied and unoccupied status scenarios, including facility management via the NEXgen work order system, monthly cleaning and housekeeping schedules, equipment repair coordination, linen inventory accountability, room preparation for inbound personnel, 24/7 operational support during occupied periods, and maintenance of standby status during unoccupied periods. Historical data indicates approximately 916 room assignments were made in 2023, with projections of approximately 1,000 members annually. The document is marked as "For Official Use Only—Competition Sensitive Information."

First, I’m seeking clarification that these are additional bodies needed who are not currently on the payroll?

In my opinion these would be additional bodies to fill the manager positions.

Second, the nine hours required per line item… Is that daily, weekly, monthly, etc.?

The 9 hours would be daily. However, in the description we have “occupied status and un-occupied status.

So this would possibly vary when dorms are un-occupied.

Finally, are they the same two bodies across all tasks, so just two additional bodies per building?

My answer for this would be similar to the above. When un-occupied I don’t think more than 1 body per bldg. is needed.

When the rooms are occupied additional bodies perhaps 2 per bldg. could accomplish the task required.

2023 – 916 room assignments Out of how many possible for the year? Or is it something else? I’m looking for a ratio of some kind. 916 out of 2000 for the year, for example.

This was the number of people that were in the dorm for the year 2023. Total number of people was 916.

We have a steady yearly rotation, but the normal rhythm is unexpected missions that we receive here at Morón.

I would say with the current pace that number should just be 1000 members yearly.

Next, is it 9 hours per person, or per task (4.5 hours per person)?

This would be 9 hours per person when occupied with members in rooms.
