STAGE
TEMPERATURE
SETPOINT
EQUIPMENT CONTROLLED
1 70 deg.
18" Variable Speed Exhaust Fan (small fan) Set Minimum Fan
Speed No Less Than %
Set Min. Fan Speed to control humidity levels during cold weather -must be in Minimum Ventilation conditions to determine required setting
Set Stage 1 On Time = 300 sec., Off Time = 0 sec.
1 Set Stage 1 Band Width = 5.0 deg.
2 78 deg. 26" Exhaust Fan (single speed)
Above settings provide an 8.0 degree spread from Minimum Ventilation to 100% fan capacity
4 84 deg. Pump for Cool Cells
Heater A Off Temp
67 deg.
Room Heater OFF (variable speed exhaust fan must be running to allow room heater & hallway preheater to run)
Heater A Start
65.5 deg.
Room Heater ON (Note: adjust OFF Temperature before adjusting Start Temperature)
Note: Above settings are guidelines - adjust as needed to accommodate bird comfort
Management during Winter conditions:
Set Minimum Fan Speed for Stage 1 fan to maintain relative humidity in each room between 45% to 65%. This is the Continuous Minimum Ventilation Rate for the room. A hand-held humidity meter is a useful tool to help determine what the Continuous Minimum Ventilation Rate should be during cold weather. Note that the room must be in cold weather conditions to determine what the Continuous Minimum Rate should be. During mild and hot weather conditions the ventilation rate for each room will be run by each room controller to maintain temperature for the room per the controller's temperature settings.
Set Hallway Preheaters to maintain approximately 50 - 55 degrees in the Hallway, during cold weather if the Hallway Heaters are running the Stage 1 fans in each room should be running on Minimum Speed (to prevent wasting fuel)
Set Hallway Air Inlet using the AeroSentry Photohelic control, Low Pressure Setting = 0.05" wc, High Pressure Setting = 0.07" wc (Okay to set slightly lower pressures for Summer when cool cells are running - this will allow the vent doors to be open further)
Set dipswitch #1 = OFF, #2 = OFF, #3 = ON, #4 = OFF (Optional: Set #1 = ON to Lock settings)
