About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of four new Xerox multifunction printing devices (MFPs) for Mesa Verde National Park. The park requires replacement of existing 12-year-old MFPs with current Xerox models featuring copy, print, scan, and fax capabilities. Specific technical requirements include printing speeds up to 30 pages per minute, print resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi, paper size compatibility for letter, legal, and tabloid formats, and network connectivity via Ethernet and analog phone ports.
The justification for selecting Xerox emphasizes the ability to trade in old devices, consolidate service contracts, and standardize equipment. By choosing a single manufacturer, the park can streamline maintenance, service, and supply procurement. The primary objective is to maintain a fleet of multifunction printing devices that are fully supported by the manufacturer for service, repairs, and replacement parts, ensuring operational continuity for the national park's printing needs.

Statement of Work
Xerox Multifunction Printing Devices (MFPs)
Project Title
Purchase new Xerox brand Multifunction Printing Devices.
Project Overview This acquisition is for four (4) new Xerox multifunction printing devices or MFPs. The park maintains a collection of Xerox MFPs, several of which are twelve years old and no longer supported by the manufacturer for service or supplies.
These MFPs are to be replaced with current equivalent model, Xerox as the preferred brand.
These devices should include copy, print, scan and FAX capability. The MFP should be capable of printing up to 30 ppm with a printing resolution up to 1200 x 2400 dpi. The paper size should include letter (8.5x11), legal (8.5x14), and tabloid, (11x17). The device should include an Ethernet port for network capability, an analog phone port for FAX capability and also be capable of scanning to a network location or to a USB device.
Justification
Selection of Xerox as the preferred brand provides an opportunity to dispose of the old multifunction devices through a trade-in program at the time of delivery. Establishment of a service contract and replacement of supplies are directed through a single source instead of maintaining multiple service contracts for different makes and models.
Measurable Results
The park maintains a series of multifunction printing devices that are eligible through the manufacturer for service, repairs and replacement parts.
