Replacement of Cardboard Baler Great Sand Dunes National Park
PMIS# 258889A
1.0 Overview
The park has had a drastic rise in visitation and an increase in cardboard accumulating onsite. The current cardboard baler is undersized and has reached the end of its serviceable life. In order to better manage the handling of the cardboard, a new baler will be placed at the Facilities Maintenance area and the old baler will be removed from the Visitor Center building.
2.0 Location
The project location is at Great Sand Dunes National Park, 115000 State Hwy 150, Mosca, CO 81146.
The specific locations are the Visitor Center where the old baler is located, and the Facilities Management area which is the first right off Piñon Circle. See Figure 1 for coordinates.
