About this file
This document is an Inspection Checklist for Janitorial Services at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Laboratory (CFSL), detailing comprehensive cleaning requirements across multiple areas including restrooms, office spaces, kitchens, reception areas, elevators, and stairwells. The checklist specifies cleaning frequencies ranging from twice weekly to monthly, with tasks including emptying waste receptacles, dusting surfaces, mopping floors, cleaning fixtures, and removing cobwebs. A yearly service section mandates additional maintenance in December, such as stripping and waxing linoleum and tile floors throughout the facility, using green products in the East wing, and shampooing carpeted surfaces in hallways, conference rooms, mail rooms, and offices.
The checklist emphasizes specific quality standards, such as maintaining a uniform, glossy floor appearance free of scuff marks and using non-skid wax. Unique requirements include not disturbing papers on surfaces during cleaning, replenishing paper towels when dispensers are below 50% capacity, and coordinating the annual deep cleaning date with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to select a mutually acceptable time. The document provides a detailed, systematic approach to maintaining cleanliness and appearance across various spaces within the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Laboratory.
