About this file
This document is an Inspection Checklist for Janitorial Services at the Corvallis Forestry Sciences Lab (CFSL), detailing comprehensive cleaning requirements across multiple areas including restrooms, office spaces, kitchens, hallways, and common areas. The checklist specifies cleaning tasks with varying frequencies: twice weekly, weekly, and monthly, covering activities such as emptying wastebaskets, dusting surfaces, cleaning floors, removing cobwebs, and maintaining hygiene in different facility zones.
The document also outlines yearly services to be performed in December, which include stripping and waxing hard surface floors throughout the facility (using green products in the East wing), shampooing carpeted common areas like hallways and conference rooms, and applying two coats of non-skid wax to maintain a uniform, glossy floor appearance free of scuff marks and stains. The janitorial service provider is required to coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to schedule these annual maintenance tasks, ensuring comprehensive and systematic facility cleaning.
