Minimum Specifications for Riesel Cotton Seed 2025
This solicitation specification is for cotton seed to be planted in the Spring of 2025 at the Grasslands Soil and Water Research Laboratory in Riesel, Texas.
The variety must include Enlist technology trait that allow for specific herbicides (2,4-D) to be applied while the cotton crop is emerged and growing and not damage the cotton plants. This variety must NOT have Dicamba technology traits as post-emergent application of Dicamba products is currently prohibited in the county that the research station is a part of. The Enlist technology trait is required as resistant weed management on fields where these cotton research plots will be planted.
The cotton variety must also meet or exceed the potential yield, quality grades, and technology traits of Phytogen 415 W3FE cotton seed
Quantity = 30 bags
Crop scouting by the awarded company should be included on this solicitation for insects and weed control. Scouting will be required at a minimum of biweekly visits to the Riesel research station.
Delivery must be between 04/01/2025 and 05/01/2025.
Delivery to 1702 Blackland Road, Riesel, TX 76682.
