The Grazinglands Research Laboratory (GRL) houses about 45 federal employees and two research units: the Forage and Livestock Production Research unit and the Great Plains Agroclimate and Natural Resources Research unit. GRL consists of 6,700 acres that house facilities for laboratories, support services and animals used in research. Research at the GRL is diverse and includes animal production and protection; crop production and protection; and natural resources preservation.

GRL requires routine and emergency veterinary services. Contractor must possess a degree in veterinary medicine (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) and a current state veterinary license for Oklahoma.
