The procurement is for a 3-year, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to produce weapon stations for military tactical vehicles, specifically supporting the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) program. The contract will cover part number 13096099, with a minimum order quantity of 50 and a maximum of 600 units.

The RFP requires offerors to submit a comprehensive proposal in four volumes: a completed RFP, a 26-page technical proposal, a 2-page past performance summary, and a pricing proposal. Key technical requirements include demonstrating manufacturing capabilities, quality management processes, production capacity, and project management approach. Past performance will be evaluated based on relevance to weapon station production for DoD or US Government systems, with contracts valued between $2M and $10M receiving the most favorable ratings. The government intends to award the contract on a best-value basis, with Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification required for drawing access.
