Attach 5_Dam Photos of Existing Conditions May 2026.pdf

This is an attachment containing reference photographs documenting existing conditions at ten dam facilities within the Hoosier National Forest as of May 2026. The file serves as a photographic baseline for the solicitation 12443926Q0178, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service for woody vegetation removal and herbicide treatment services. The photographs cover ten dam sites: Oriole, Saddle, Springs Valley, U38, Grouse Hollow, Sundance, Whispering Pine, Celina, Indian, and Tipsaw, with individual photo sets provided for each location to illustrate current vegetation conditions requiring treatment.

The photographs are provided as reference materials to support contractors' understanding of the scope and scale of vegetation management work needed across the dam facilities. The RFQ is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside with a size standard of $11.5 million under NAICS Code 115310. Contractors should use these existing condition photos in conjunction with the solicitation requirements to develop quotations for woody plant treatment using hand methods, machinery, and EPA-approved non-restricted use herbicides. The photographic documentation allows bidders to assess treatment areas, patch sizes, and locations to prepare accurate pricing and work plans for the vegetation removal project.
