About this file

This is a Technical Specifications document for a Mobile Generators procurement opportunity issued by the California Department of General Services (DGS) under a state contract framework. The solicitation seeks mobile generators and related equipment, with specifications detailed in revision B of the technical documentation. Specific quantities, delivery schedules, and performance requirements are outlined within the technical specifications to ensure equipment meets state operational standards. Interested bidders must submit responses in writing according to instructions provided in the Event package rather than through electronic submission portals. Clarification questions regarding the solicitation must be directed in writing to Carlos Angulo, the designated Procurement Official, with the subject line identifying the Event ID 0000039356 and the bidding company name.

The technical specifications establish the minimum performance criteria, operational parameters, and compliance standards that all submitted mobile generator units must satisfy. These specifications ensure uniformity in equipment capability and compatibility with state requirements across potential vendors. Pricing and commercial terms, along with any set-aside provisions or incumbent contractor considerations, would be detailed in the broader Event package documentation. Funding for this procurement is managed through the DGS procurement process, which coordinates acquisitions across California state agencies and potentially participating local jurisdictions through the OTA (Ordered Through Agreement) mechanism.
