All wall-mounted systems must prioritize physical-layer separation, secure optical path integrity, and positive disconnect functionality with fiber optic runs, red/black signal separation, and tamper-evident verification. Desktop units require shielded twisted pair Cat6/6A cabling with metal bonded connectors. All equipment must have wireless/transmitting components disabled or physically removed, with microphone disconnection indicators when systems are muted or idle. The contractor furnishes all equipment specified in Section 4.0 while the Government provides workspace, desk space, telephones, computers, and facility utilities.
