About this file
This document is an appendix to a Statement of Work for FSR 39 Ditch and Drainage Maintenance work, specifying acceptable dump site locations for excavated ditch material. Six designated dump sites are identified along the forest service road corridor, each with specific coordinates and operational guidance: MP 1 Left Hand pullout (material can be dumped on top and pushed over slope or shaped at base); MP 12.8 FSR 3950 Junction (rock pit location 0.1 miles down the road); MP 16.2 Red Rock hairpin corner (material may be used as berm on outside of corner only); MP 29.1 across from FSR 3965 (decommissioned road for tank traps, with existing material present); MP 30 Lonesome rock pit (visible dump location at dig site); and MP 34.1 Right Hand pullout (visible dump site at far back).
All dump site usage is subject to critical constraints: sites must not be overfilled or encroach upon existing structures including roads, ditches, and campsites. The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) maintains discretionary authority over which dump sites are used, the volume of material placed at each location, and authorization to establish alternate dump sites as needed during the course of work.

FSR 39 Ditch and Drainage Maintenance
Acceptable dump sites for ditch material
The following is a list of acceptable dump site locations for any material that will be removed during work activities for FSR 39 Ditch and Drainage Maintenance.
1. MP 1 Left Hand pullout, the bench at this site is all dump material. Either dump on top and push over slope to level or dump at base and shape into slope.
2. MP 12.8 FSR 3950 Jct., drive about 0.1 mi. down the 3950 and to the right is a rock pit.
In the back there is a visible dump location.
3. MP 16.2 Red Rock hairpin corner. Some material from this location can be used as a berm on the outside of the corner. Keep in shape with rest of material and do not bring it inside of current “wall”.
4. MP 29.1 across from FSR 3965 has a small, decommissioned road that some material can be placed as tank traps to deter traffic. There is already material here, do not overfill or encroach on ditch line.
5. MP 30 Lonesome rock pit, drive up to rock pit dig site and there is a visible dump location.
6. MP 34.1 Right Hand pullout, there is a visible dump site at the far back of this large pullout.
∗ ALL DUMP SITE LOCATIONS ARE NOT TO BE OVERFILLED OR BEGIN TO ENCROACH ON ANY OTHER EXISTING
STRUCTURES (ROADS, DITCHES, CAMPSITES ETC.).
∗ DUMP SITES AND AMOUNT OF MATERIAL PLACED WILL BE AT THE COR’S DISCRETION. ALTERNATE DUMP
SITES MAY BE ESTABLISHED AS DIRECTED BY THE COR.
