About this file
This is an attachment containing site pictures and requirements for Well 3 at Shaw AFB, showing the current equipment and locations that need upgrading. The images show the existing stripper level sensor system that needs to be replaced with a single ultrasonic or radar level sensor mounted on a new 4" PVC pipe, which must be marked with High High Level, High Level, Low Level, and Low Low Level indicators and include heat tracing. The attachment also shows a NEMA Premium main well motor, electrical cabinets and VFD that need to be returned to 20th CES, analyzers and plumbing to be demolished, and a potential EMCS Allen Bradley PC workstation location.
The document includes example graphics of desired HMI displays showing tower levels and motor status indicators, with specifications for a gray background interface that needs to be replicated for each well and tower. Additional requirements include installing a small drop-down wall-mounted table for water sampling, verifying supply voltage for the new main motor VFD, and maintaining existing fiber connections while removing associated conduit and cabinets. The images provide visual context for contractors to understand the scope of demolition, replacement, and new installation work required.
