About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements form for a federal contract with Purchase Instrument Number FD20602600009-00, Version 3. The document details specific military packaging and marking standards for two items (1680016562218GC and 1680DTL250071GC), requiring compliance with MIL-STD-129 Revision R and MIL-STD-2073-1 Revision E. A key requirement is that all wooden packaging materials must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade for 30 minutes, in accordance with United Nations restrictions on wood packaging material to prevent invasive species transmission. Shipping containers must be marked per military standards, including potential additional bar coding or serial number requirements specified on the AFMC Form 158. The document is signed by a Packaging Specialist from the 406 SCMS/GULAA organization on 29 May 2025, indicating an upcoming implementation date for these packaging specifications.
