STATEMENT OF WORK FOR INSTALLATION OF A MOVABLE WALL SYSTEM

5104 15th Cavalry Ave, Bldg 341, FE Warren AFB, WY 82001

1. BACKGROUND: This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the requirement for the installation of a Movable Wall System in building 341 on FE Warren AFB, Cheyenne WY 82001.

The contractor shall provide all management, labor, materials, and fuel necessary to complete the task. The 90 SFG is the organization who is requiring the work.

2. SCOPE: This contracts effort is to provide a multi room purpose/layout for efficient Shoot, Move, and Communication (SMC) training between battle field airmen. The track/movable wall system must allow personnel to complete simunition training on a daily basis Monday – Friday throughout the each year. There are over 1.2 thousand personnel that must conduct SMC training annually showcasing individual and team skillsets.

3. OBJECTIVE: Install a track/movable wall system with partitions/panels attached to support and/or ceiling beams within the confines of building 341 that is capable of forming multiple room layouts (to include hallways) and durable/strong enough to withstand impact from simunition rounds and battlefield airmen with fully kitted armor. The track/wall system should be movable via electric or manual operation and allow individuals and teams to be separated by sight in multiple room/hallway configurations. Panels/partitions should be able to be placed in pockets around the room for open room layouts. The layout of the room in building 341 is 59’ feet wide x 85’ feet 7’ inches long and the training area is 59’ feet wide x 59’ feet long. The track system and panels/partitions should fit within these space requirements. The Period of Performance for the work to be performed must be completed No Later Than six (6) months after contract award.

Statement of Objectives:

1. Provide and construct drawings based on the specifications listed above. Drawings should allow additional space within the square footage of the room for staging of personnel.

2. The preferred panels/partition surface should be of a vinyl type and capable of being cleaned. Provide options to customer incorporating different surfaces that meet customer needs.

3. Provide the option for doors on specific panels that is chosen by customer to facilitate personnel entry and egress into different rooms. Panels/partitions should also be removable allowing for larger entry/egress openings.

4. The movable wall system should also provide separation down the middle of the entire room for two large open spaces. Partitions and Panels should be stackable/foldable in bunches against the walls and down the middle of the room.

5. Preferably the movable wall should be attached to support beams within the ceiling. Include a total of at least 590 feet of panels/partitions into design construction.
