09 January 2024

1. SCOPE: The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to provide Cable Television (CATV), Satellite television (SATV), and CATV channels for Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services, and Commercial Internet Services (CIS) for Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) users. For cable television this includes signal distribution, installation and maintenance of internal/external cabling, receiver(s) and any other equipment needed for continuous broadcast services. For satellite television this includes the installation and maintenance of satellite dish(s), internal/external cabling, receiver(s), and any other equipment needed for continuous broadcast services. For Commercial Internet Services this includes installation, operations, and maintenance of security appliance, distribution nodes, switches, and wireless access points.

1.1 Background: VSFB utilizes CATV, SATV, and IPTV services for monitoring local and national news broadcasts. CATV offers customers reliable television service for situational awareness and morale and welfare purposes within the most populated areas of the base.

1.2 Objective: This SOW is to provide a method for base customers to easily establish, maintain, and acquire commercial internet services, CATV, and SATV services for new and existing requirements.
