About this file
This document is an Advance Request for Quotation (ARFQ) issued by the West Virginia Department of Transportation for the Rock Quarry Chain Link Fence Project. The project involves the installation of chain link fencing at a rock quarry facility. The ARFQ solicits quotations from qualified contractors to complete the fencing installation work as detailed in the project specifications and scope of work. Interested bidders are required to submit their quotations by the specified deadline, with evaluation and award anticipated to follow standard procurement procedures. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder offering the most advantageous proposal to the state.
The pricing structure requires bidders to submit detailed cost proposals including labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the chain link fence installation. Specific pricing terms, payment schedules, and contract duration should be detailed within the quotation requirements section of the ARFQ. No set-asides are identified in the available documentation. Additional details regarding funding sources, budget allocation, and any site-specific requirements or pre-bid conferences should be confirmed directly with the West Virginia Department of Transportation through the contact information provided in the solicitation.

The vendors not selected will be deemed to have not attended the pre-bid meeting unless another individual attended on their behalf. The required attribution of attendance to a single vendor should be addressed during the pre-bid but may occur at any time deemed appropriate by the Purchasing Division.
An attendance sheet provided at the pre-bid meeting shall serve as the official document verifying attendance. Any person attending the pre-bid meeting on behalf of a Vendor must list on the attendance sheet his or her name and the name of the Vendor he or she is representing.
