About this file
This addendum clarifies terms and conditions for a Request for Quotation issued by West Virginia's Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation for an Underground Stormwater Culvert Pipe Project at Denmar Correctional Center and Jail. The addendum removes the professional engineering license requirement, eliminates professional/malpractice/errors and omission insurance requirements, and removes insurance compliance references to AIA B101-2017 standards. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM E.S.T. on September 4, 2026, with a question deadline of 2:00 PM E.S.T. on September 11, 2026. Bids are due at 10:30 AM on September 18, 2026. This is a construction contract as defined in the specifications.
The apparent successful vendor must provide proof of a West Virginia Contractors License prior to contract award. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability Insurance and Automobile Liability Insurance, each in the amount of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence, with the State named as an additional insured. The vendor must maintain workers' compensation insurance as required by law and provide proof upon request. Vendors must provide thirty days' notice prior to insurance policy expiration and immediate notice of any policy changes. The contract does not include liquidated damages. Vendor submission of a bid constitutes an offer that cannot be unilaterally withdrawn and signifies acceptance of all terms and conditions unless otherwise indicated.
