About this file
This is a Technology and Architecture Questionnaire issued by the Information Services Department of the City of Santa Monica, California, in support of a Fixed Route Vehicle and Operator Scheduling Software procurement. The questionnaire establishes evaluation criteria for vendors responding to the City's request for proposals for a comprehensive software system that supports fixed route scheduling, daily operations management, and workforce timekeeping, along with implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance services. The document, version 3.1 last modified on November 27, 2024, does not specify proposal response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract terms within its content, as it functions as a technical evaluation framework rather than a formal solicitation notice.
The questionnaire comprises eight primary evaluation sections addressing Architecture Review, Technology Review, User Experience, Integrations Review, Configuration and Customizations, User and Access Management Review, Maintenance and Support, and Reporting and Business Analytics. Vendors must provide detailed responses regarding system components and architecture diagrams; programming languages and database specifications; cloud provider information and environment details; user personas and accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards; data migration and API integration capabilities; customization and configuration procedures; identity and access management integration; support service levels and training options; and operational reporting and business analytics functionality. The questionnaire does not address pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, current system environment details, or funding sources within the document provided.
