About this file

This is an appendix document detailing asset requirements for USSS security perimeter equipment and services. The requirements cover multiple categories of security assets including: portable vehicle barriers (16-20 foot mobile barriers with K4/K12 crash ratings), concrete jersey barriers (32" tall x 24" wide x 8-12' long), crowd control barriers (bike racks and 8' anti-scale fencing), tenting (weather resistant with side panels), golf/utility carts, generators, lighting (portable towers and LED lights), waste management equipment, tables/chairs, and miscellaneous items like traffic cones, cable ramps, and signage.

The document provides detailed technical specifications and operational requirements for each asset category. Key requirements include: barriers must be remotely controllable and deployable within one hour, anti-scale fencing must be 100% steel construction with mesh to disperse liquids, tents must be weather resistant and secured with water barrels/concrete, portable toilets require daily servicing, and all powered equipment (generators, lights, carts) must have uninterrupted fuel/power. The contractor is responsible for delivery, assembly, safety testing, maintenance, and removal of all assets, as well as providing trained operators for heavy machinery. • The 8 foot sections must interlock with access panels and cross bracing.

• Construction strength and configuration shall be at such a level as to prevent the barricade from being pulled down (anti push), taken apart, set on fire and easily climbed on.

• The barricade must be able to be configured in such a way that 16 and 20 foot gates can be included in intervals around the perimeter to control vehicle traffic ingress/egress and provide for vehicle checkpoints.
