About this file
This document is a script for outgoing calls regarding the mandatory hunter report information required by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. The script provides guidance on when to place calls, how to introduce the call, and the specific questions to ask hunters regarding their hunting activities and harvests during the various hunting seasons, including the Center fire (any weapon) season, Archery ONLY season, and Muzzleloader ONLY season. The script also outlines the appropriate responses for reaching answering machines or business offices, as well as procedures for handling minor clients and unavailable adult clients.
The script emphasizes the importance of this hunter report information as the cornerstone of the Idaho Department of Fish and Game's data to manage wildlife populations and improve the hunting experience. The mandatory nature of this reporting is highlighted, and operators are available 7 days a week to assist hunters in submitting the required information.
