About this file
This is a Vendor Accessibility Checklist document for the Colorado state contract opportunity related to Climate Policy Modeling. The checklist establishes digital accessibility requirements that vendors must address as part of their proposal submission. Vendors are required to answer five key questions regarding their accessibility capabilities: whether they maintain an accessibility commitment statement, whether their deliverables will meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA standards (including PDF/UA compliance for PDF documents), what testing methodologies they employ to assess compliance, whether they can provide compliance reports, and their designated accessibility contact information. The document directs vendors to reference the Vendor Accessibility Guide and WCAG 2.1 standards for detailed guidance on meeting these requirements.
This checklist represents mandatory accessibility standards that must be incorporated into vendor proposals for the Climate Policy Modeling contract. Vendors are expected to demonstrate competency in accessible digital content delivery, including proficiency with assessment tools such as automated compliance software, manual testing procedures, and screen reader applications like JAWS, JawsInspect, or CommonLook. The state requires vendors to verify that all documents and digital content provided will comply with applicable accessibility standards, ensuring that deliverables are usable by individuals with disabilities and meet federal accessibility requirements.
