About this file
This is a solicitation for an Industrial Plant Equipment Maintenance Program. The Navy seeks a contractor to provide preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration analysis, and training services for up to 600 machine tools located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Services are required on a continuous basis over an initial 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The contractor must provide certified technicians, transportation, equipment, parts, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to execute the maintenance program. Preventative maintenance services will follow manufacturer recommendations. Corrective maintenance includes any non-recurring repairs. The training component supports educating organic workers on preventative maintenance standards to reduce future contracting needs. The requirement's proposed product service code is J036 for maintenance of special industry machinery.
