About this file

This document is an appendix that outlines the functional and security specifications for a Legislative Tracking Tool requested by the Illinois Executive Ethics Commission. The key requirements include providing real-time electronic tracking of Illinois General Assembly legislative and executive actions, allowing for simultaneous access by at least six users, generating daily synopses, offering search and export functionality, enabling users to electronically share tracked updates, and providing automated email alerts. Security specifications mandate data encryption, protection against security incidents, restricted use of state data, data backup and disaster recovery, and purging of data upon contract termination.

Regarding the related state and local contract opportunity, the Executive Ethics Commission is seeking to procure this Legislative Tracking Tool. Vendors are requested to provide pricing for the initial 1-year contract term and four optional 1-year renewal periods. A contract template with terms and conditions is provided for review. Exceptions to state laws must be submitted as part of the vendor quote, though the agency discourages taking exceptions.
